I have some back okay mount spray glue for use in mate?
I have some copies to assemble. I have a matt cutter, and I was wondering if you can Use the photo adhesive mount, or should be printed on the tape? These are valuable engravings btw, but still want to look good. I would cut some assembly on board as a backing and spray the spool to the Board, then glue the front mounting board. Is this correct? Does anyone have any advice?
I have used Kodak and 3M Photo Adhesive sprays since 1976 for mounting prints to board, matte - foam board, and have never had a problem with the appearance or accession. We prints face down, spray them and kill ... going to get "sticky", then press together careful not to trap air bubbles. Then use a soft cloth to remove any air bubbles, and make impressions of several books to give them time to establish. If you use tables double Matte, used a picture the tape to put the support in the front, and usually lasts at least 10 years. We have over 500 prints well, and have never had a problem. GOOD LUCK
